About Me:

I am a digital media veteran and senior team leader with over 15 years of experience creating dynamic video content for Discovery Digital Networks and Group Nine Media, as well as a host of branded content partners such as Discovery, Sony, Subaru, Boeing, Lexus, and Moderna.

I am incredibly passionate about storytelling and have been fortunate enough to work on a lot of inspiring and beautiful content.  I have previously worked as an editor for Rooftop Comedy and a variety of freelance projects including narrative films, documentaries, and reality series.

I love editing! It's in my blood. It's what I do for fun, and I just feel so lucky to have been able to make a career out of it. 

Education:

A lifelong passion for filmmaking lead me to a BFA in Film, with a concentration in directing, from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2003.  I received my MFA in Motion Pictures and Television Editing from the Academy of Art University San Francisco in December 2012, focusing on emerging technologies, motion graphics and video editing best practices on platforms including the Adobe Creative Suite, FCP and Avid.  Documentary short "American Rugger: The Highwaymen at Maggotfest" was nominated for Best Documentary at the 2012 Epidemic Film Festival in San Francisco.     

Why Battle Born Films?

"Battle Born" is the state motto of Nevada, my beloved homeland. Many of my artistic influences and themes running throughout my work were heavily shaped from the years I spent in Reno, Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe.
